Music Ministry Team We use a variety of musicians each week during the 8:20am and 9:40am services, including singers, guitar, bass, drums, and an assortment of other instruments. Our musicians range in age from junior high and high school through college students and adult community members.
Adult Choir We sing the great hymns of the faith as well as some wonderful new hymns that have been written recently. The choir sings each week during the 11:00am service during the school year, and meets for rehearsal on Tuesdays at 7:00pm in the sanctuary.
Additionally, various members of our church family play instruments or sing during the service, so if would like to serve musically on Sunday morning please contact our Music and Worship Director. Contact Amanda Cox for more information.
Greeters and Ushers Greeters and Ushers help prepare the hearts of members for worship as they welcome guests with a smile and warm handshake. They are attentive to anyone that seeks information from them and are willing to follow- up when they cannot answer questions. They serve God as they aid the congregation members and ensure a smooth operative environment. If you enjoy meeting new people and have a genuine desire to make them feel comfortable this may the ministry for you.
Acolyte Children in grades 2nd– 8th grade serve during the Sunday Morning worship services by lighting and extinguishing the alter candles.
Nursery Child care is provided for infants and toddlers’ ages 0-24 months during the 8:20, 9:40, and 11:00am services. We provide a loving, nurturing, secure and clean environment for our children.
Children’s Church Children ages 2-8 years are dismissed before the congregational prayer and sermon during the Sunday Morning service so they can have an age appropriate lesson that follows the same lesson as the sermon series. Contact Emily Spateholts for more information about working with children in Children’s Church.
Sunday School Sunday school classes for all ages meet from 9:40-10:40am every Sunday morning. Our goal is to bring scripture and everyday life together so that God’s word transforms us as individuals and as a church family.
