All kinds of service are important and valuable within the church body. You can love God and love others by being a part of a serving team.

Hospitality
Greeters
Be a welcoming and friendly face at the outside doors as people arrive for the worship services. Contact Janyce Smithley (585-307-0228) for more information.
Ushers
Help people feel welcome as the enter the sanctuary and help prepare the hearts of the members for worship. Pass out bulletins, collect offering and assist with communion.
Acolyte
Children in grades 2nd and older serve during the Sunday morning worship service by lighting and extinguishing the altar candles.
Contact Pastor Cindy Oden if you would like to serve as a Greeter, Usher or Acolyte.
Library Committee
Assist with circulation of library materials, type library cards, create window displays and bulletin boards. Committee meets every other month. Contact Donna Blew if you would like to serve in the library.
Lay Shepherd Ministry
Offer and coordinate assistance for those in short-term crisis situations, transition or with special needs in our congregation and neighborhoods.
Provide meals and help neighbors move in and out.
Host church-wide fellowship gatherings by providing set-up, clear-up and service.

Administrative Volunteers
Fold and stuff bulletins and Highlights monthly church newsletter. Assist with mailings. Contact Patty Stalker for more information.
Creative Arts
Music Ministry Team
Serve on a team that leads contemporary worship during the 8:30 and 10:00 / 11:00 service times. The teams consist of musicians skilled in voice, guitar, bass, drum and a variety of other instruments.
Adult Choir
Join the choir that sings traditional hymns as well as newly written ones each week during the 11:00 service. The choir rehearses every other Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Children
Nursery
Provide care for infants and toddlers ages 0-24 months during the 8:30, 9:45 or 11:00 services.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH
Provide an age appropriate lesson for children in PreK – 1st grades when they are dismissed from the sanctuary before the sermon begins.
KIDS CONNECT
Teach Kids Connect (formerly Sunday School) lessons to children ages 3 – 6th grade during the 9:45-10:45AM Discipleship Hour.
KIDS CLUB
Engage children in grades PreK – 1st through a lesson, games, crafts, and more once a month as they explore a special topic with a fun theme!

Youth
Sunday Night Life Groups
Serve as a small group leader for students in 7th and 8th grade or in High school.
Help set up and clean up for meetings.
Help find appropriate media to share with the youth (YouTube Videos, music, skits).
Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast (7:00AM)
Lead Prayer Breakfast.
Help cook and set up for breakfast served at the church every Tuesday morning; need to arrive at 6:30AM.
Clean up and drive youth to school.

Update database, write newsletters, advertise and update social media, send encouraging notes/cards

Host a student-led Bible Study fellowship group in your home during an evening.

Refill sermon note pads and pens in the pews.
