All kinds of service are important and valuable within the church body. You can love God and love others by being a part of a serving team.

Help people feel welcome as the enter the sanctuary and help prepare the hearts of the members for worship. Pass out bulletins, collect offering and assist with communion.
Children in grades 2nd and older serve during the Sunday morning worship service by lighting and extinguishing the altar candles.

Assist with circulation of library materials, type library cards, create window displays and bulletin boards. Committee meets every other month. Contact Donnie Stockin (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to serve in the library.
Lay Shepherd Ministry
Offer and coordinate assistance for those in short-term crisis situations, transition or with special needs in our congregation and neighborhoods.
Provide meals and help neighbors move in and out.
Host church-wide fellowship gatherings by providing set-up, clear-up and service.

Music Ministry Team
Serve on a team that leads contemporary worship during the 8:20 and 9:40 service times. The teams consist of musicians skilled in voice, guitar, bass, drum and a variety of other instruments.
Join the choir that sings traditional hymns as well as newly written ones each week during the 11:00 service. The choir rehearses Tuesday evening at 7:00pm.
Children ages Kindergarten through 6th grade practice and perform periodically throughout the year.

Provide care for infants and toddlers ages 0-24 months during the 8:20, 9:40 or 11:00 service.
Provide an age appropriate lesson for children ages 2-5 years when they are dismissed from the sanctuary before the sermon begins.
Help make the sermon message relevant to children in Kindergarten- 3rd grade who are dismissed before the sermon during the 8:20 worship service.
Teach Sunday School curriculum to children Preschool – 6th grade during the 9:40-10:40AM Sunday school hour.
Wednesday Evening Children’s ministrY
Serve as lead teacher, co-teacher or helper for children 1st – 6th grade, Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15 pm.

Sunday Night Life Groups
Serve as a small group leader for students in 7th and 8th grade or in High school.
Help set up and clean up for meetings.
Help find appropriate media to share with the youth (YouTube Videos, music, skits).
Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast (7:00AM)
Lead Prayer Breakfast.
Help cook and set up for breakfast served at the church every Tuesday morning; need to arrive at 6:30AM.
Clean up and drive youth to school.
Update database, write newsletters, advertise and update social media, send encouraging notes/cards
