Wednesday Evening Adult Prayer Group
“Lord, teach us to pray.” (Luke 11:1)
We
believe that prayer is the cornerstone of our church’s health and existence.
Jesus makes prayer such an essential element of his life and the disciples see
its impact on him and all that he does that the only thing scripture records
them asking him to teach them is to pray. Prayer has always been central to the
spiritual depth and health of the universal, historical church throughout its
existence.
Knowing
this to be true, Wednesday evenings, from 6:30—7:30 in the church sanctuary is
set aside as a time of prayer and intercession for the ministries and needs of
our church, our community and our world.
Prayer Chain
We currently have two prayer chains, one that sends requests during the day
and another that functions evenings and weekends. We also offer prayer chain
notification by e-mail.
